湖南湘江新区虚拟电厂已接入资源运营商12家
6月22日,湖南湘江新区虚拟电厂正式启动,成为湖南省首家实体运行的虚拟电厂。目前,湘江新区虚拟电厂已接入资源运营商12家,容量30万千瓦,实时可调能力相当于1台小型火电机组。
On June 22, the virtual power plant (VPP) of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area was officially launched, becoming the first one in physical operation in Hunan Province. So far, this virtual power plant has access to 12 resource operators with a capacity of 300,000 kilowatts. The real-time adjustable capacity of this VPP is equivalent to a small thermal power generating unit.
虚拟电厂是参与电网运行和电力市场的能源供给、协调管理系统,通过信息、互联网技术等,将海量分散的、小型的可再生能源发电单元、储能设备、可控负载以及电动汽车等资源整合起来,加以优化控制,参与到电网调度,是降低全社会用电成本的“云端电厂”。计划到2030年,新区虚拟电厂调节能力达到20万千瓦,形成虚拟电厂完整产业链。
The virtual power plant works as an energy supply and coordination management system in grid operation and the electricity market. It can use information and Internet technologies to integrate numerous resources, including distributed and small-scale renewable power generation units, energy storage devices, controllable loads, and electric vehicles, then optimize them for the grid dispatch. It is a "cloud power plant" that can lower the electricity cost for the society. By 2030, the regulating capacity of this virtual power plant will have reached 200,000 kilowatts, forming a complete industrial chain of the virtual power plant.
