湖湘文化出海：蔡皋历史性获奖，更多湖湘艺术站上世界舞台

At the Canadian Museum of History on August 8, 80-year-old Changsha artist Cai Gao received the 2026 Hans Christian Andersen Illustrator Award—becoming the first Chinese illustrator to win the prize in its 60-year history. The award, often called the “Nobel Prize of children’s literature,” recognized Cai’s unique Eastern visual language that weaves Miao embroidery patterns, Dongting Lake mist, and Yuelu Mountain hues into watercolor and pencil.

8月8日，在加拿大历史博物馆，80岁的长沙艺术家蔡皋接过2026年国际安徒生奖插画家奖奖杯——成为该奖项60年历史上首位获奖的中国插画家。这项被誉为“儿童文学诺贝尔”的奖项，表彰了蔡皋将苗族刺绣纹样、洞庭烟波、岳麓秋色融入水彩与铅笔的独特东方视觉语言。

But Cai’s medal is only the tip of an iceberg. A wave of Hunan-born culture is sweeping across the globe: the acrobatic drama Dream Journey has toured 916 shows worldwide, drawing over one million viewers; the guzheng ensemble Thousands of Miles of Xiaoxiang became the first Chinese provincial orchestra to perform at the UN Chinese Language Day in Geneva; and Ningxiang-born novelist Kong Liu’s Cherishing Huazhi has sold over 3 million copies in its Korean comic edition. In 2025 alone, European visits to Hunan rose 24.2% year-on-year.

而蔡皋的奖牌，只是冰山一角。一股源自湖湘的文化浪潮正席卷全球：杂技剧《梦之旅》全球巡演916场，观众逾百万；民乐《千里潇湘》成为首个登上联合国中文日舞台的中国省级民乐团；宁乡籍作家空留的《惜花芷》韩国漫画版销量突破300万册。仅2025年，欧洲入湘游客同比增长24.2%。

“The most local is the most universal,” Cai once said. From picture books to web novels, from acrobatics to folk music, Hunan’s creative works are winning hearts worldwide—quietly, steadily, powerfully.

“最本土的，就是最世界的，”蔡皋曾说。从绘本到网文，从杂技到民乐，湖湘作品正在赢得世界的心——安静、坚定、有力。
