Over 50 ancient decorations on display in Changsha
An art exhibition featuring Qinggong articles dating back to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the Republic of China (1912-1949) opened at the Hunan Cultural Center on April 8. Qinggong, or the "pure offering", refers to articles put on a long table for interior decoration in studies and reception halls, which can add spice to one's life.
The exhibition showcases over 50 Qinggong artworks collected by young collector Wang Nuanyu over a decade, including couplets, hanging scrolls, and fans. Also on display are 30 pieces of ancient inkstones, ancient ink, arm rests, and other exquisite stationery. The exhibition will run until April 14.
