茶香棋韵：长沙社区老少对弈传承国粹

On Aug 21, a community senior center in Changsha's Wangcheng District turned into a lively chess arena. Seniors and children faced off over xiangqi(Chinese chess) — four teams, 12 boards, three rounds of intense play, with professional referees from the district xiangqi association overseeing every match. Between games, participants browsed chess manuals and classic books from the community library, blending reading with the ancient game.

8月21日，长沙市望城区一个社区养老服务站变身热闹的象棋赛场。老人与孩子隔桌对弈——四支队伍、12张棋盘、三轮激烈比拼，区象棋协会的专业裁判全程执裁。赛间，大家翻阅社区图书室提供的棋谱和经典书籍，让阅读与这项古老游戏相得益彰。

"Xiangqi is a book you read with patience," said organizer Guo Haohao. "When generations play together, they read wisdom side by side." Winners received certificates and small prizes, but residents agreed the real reward was the laughter, the learning, and the bond between old and young.

“象棋是一本需要静心去读的书，”组织者郭豪豪说，“老少对弈，就是在并肩阅读智慧。”获胜者拿到了证书和小奖品，但居民们都说，真正的收获是笑声、学习，以及老幼之间那份温暖的连接。
