稻香从长沙飘向世界：中国杂交水稻教材发布

CHANGSHA, China — A new vocational education textbook, Rice to Feed the World: Chinese Hybrid Rice, was officially launched in Changsha, the city where Yuan Longping — the "Father of Hybrid Rice" — spent decades breeding varieties that now feed hundreds of millions. Sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce and compiled by Longping High-Tech, the book took two years to craft and distills decades of Chinese expertise in hybrid rice breeding, seed production, and cultivation into an internationally accessible curriculum. The launch ceremony, held alongside a hybrid rice cultivation training program, drew 28 student representatives from four countries, along with officials from the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, Longping High-Tech, and China Agricultural Press.

长沙，中国——一本名为《稻济世界：中国杂交水稻》的职业教育出海教材在长沙正式发布。长沙，正是“杂交水稻之父”袁隆平院士数十年深耕、培育出养活数亿人的杂交水稻品种的城市。该教材由商务部主办、隆平高科承办，历时两年打磨，将中国数十年来在杂交水稻育种、制种、栽培领域积累的核心经验，转化为国际通用的教学语言。发布会同期举办“全球倡议下杂交水稻高产栽培技术研修班”，来自4个国家的28位学员代表与湖南省商务厅、隆平高科、中国农业出版社的嘉宾齐聚一堂。

More than a technical manual, the textbook is being framed as a "Chinese lesson plan" for global food security — translating dense agronomic terminology into modules foreign students can actually use, and carrying forward Yuan Longping's lifelong mission to "develop hybrid rice and benefit the people of the world." Hunan Province, home to China's strongest seed industry cluster, says it will continue exporting hybrid rice technology and vocational education resources, turning Yuan's vision of "keeping everyone away from hunger" into a tangible curriculum that takes root in soils far beyond China.

这本教材并非单纯的技术手册，而被定位为面向全球粮食安全的“中国教案”——将复杂的农学术语转化为外国学员能直接使用的教学模块，并传承袁隆平院士“发展杂交水稻，造福世界人民”的毕生使命。湖南作为中国种业产业重镇，表示将持续推动杂交水稻技术与职教资源走出国门，让“让所有人远离饥饿”的愿景跨越山海、在世界各地的土壤中落地生根。
