In 2025, China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha) handled 1,037 service, exceeding 1,000 trains for 5 consecutive years and maintaining its position in the national "first tier" for 7 years. With an annual throughput of 85,072 containers and a cargo value of over 2.3 billion US dollars, its 12 high-quality routes connected nearly 30 countries and 100 cities across Eurasia. Changsha successfully secured the qualification as a national China-Europe Railway Express hub city. The Negotiable Cargo Documents (NCDs)-based "single-document multimodal transport" system implemented in Changsha addressed the industry pain point that railway waybills cannot serve as documents of title. Meanwhile, through services such as customized special trains and the "Silk Road LCL (Less than Container Load)" service, it provided stable logistics support for various enterprises in Hunan.

2025年，中欧班列（长沙）开行量达1037列，连续5年破千列、7年稳居全国“第一方阵”，全年运量85072箱、货值超23亿美元，12条精品线路辐射欧亚近30国100个城市。长沙成功获批国家中欧班列集结中心城市，在长落地的NCD单证“多式联运一单制”，破解了铁路运单物权凭证难题，同时通过定制化专列、“丝路拼箱”等服务，为湖南各类企业提供稳定物流保障。

Changsha Customs and railway authorities facilitated the efficient operation of China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha) by optimizing supervision services, coordinating 24/7 customs clearance at border ports, implementing a 24/7 appointment-based system for extra freight train services, promoting convenient models like "advance declaration", and applying intelligent supervision equipment to improve inspection efficiency, delivering "customs acceleration" for the express. Driven by both innovation and service, the express has continuously consolidated its role as a key international logistics corridor, supporting Hunan and the central region's integration into the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
