1989年,长沙黄花国际机场建成通航。2020年12月,长沙机场改扩建工程项目启动建设。该项目按照2030年旅客吞吐量6000万人次、货邮吞吐量60万吨需求设计。建成后,长沙机场将新增一条3600米的第三跑道、一座50万平方米的T3航站楼和28.5万平方米的综合交通中心,以及154个停机位。

In 1989, Changsha Huanghua International Airport was completed and put into operation. In December 2020, the renovation and expansion project of the airport began, which is designed to meet the demand of 60 million passengers and 600,000 tons of cargo and mail throughput by 2030. After completion, the airport will add a 3600-meter third runway, a 500,000-square-meter T3 building, a 285,000-square-meter comprehensive transportation center and 154 parking spaces.

一架架客机、货机繁忙往返,畅通了长沙与外界的大小循环,源源不断地输送着各类发展要素。长沙黄花国际机场为不靠海、不沿边的长沙乃至湖南插上了腾飞之翼,搭起了联通世界的空中之桥。

The busy round trip of passengers and cargo planes has facilitated the circulation of various development factors between Changsha and the outside world. Changsha Huanghua International Airport has provided wings to Changsha City and even Hunan Province, which are not located near the sea or borders,and built an aerial bridge connecting the world.
