Changsha among 15 new Chinese first-tier cities for business attractiveness
On May 30, the Rising Lab, a city data research project of Yicai Media Group, released its 2023 ranking of cities' business attractiveness in China. The ranking measures the business attractiveness of 337 cities at the prefecture level and above in China. A total of 15 cities including Changsha were rated as new first-tier cities in terms of their business appeal. Among them, Changsha ranked 8th, moving up two places from the previous year to overtake Tianjin and Zhengzhou, with a business attractiveness index of 58.4.
The 15 new first-tier cities were Chengdu, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Suzhou, Xi'an, Nanjing, Changsha, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Dongguan, Qingdao, Kunming, Ningbo and Hefei.
